Estimated Population Served: 12,000 Summary of findings (January 13 – March 10, 2026): Cocaine (parent) / Benzoylecgonine (metabolite): Average parent concentrations fluctuated but remained below regional and national detections. Average metabolite concentrations had overall higher concentrations compared to the parent and was well above regional and national detections. Fentanyl (parent) / Norfentanyl (metabolite): Average concentrations for both fentanyl and norfentanyl fluctuated but remained below regional and national averages. Methamphetamine (parent) / Amphetamine (metabolite): Average parent concentrations remained low or not detectable. Average metabolite concentrations fluctuated and generally remained below regional and national detections. Xylazine (parent) / 4-Hydroxyxylazine (metabolite): Average parent concentrations were detected between late-January to mid-February before returning to no detectable concentrations. The metabolite, 4-hydroxyxylazine, had no detectable concentrations. Trans-3’-Hydroxycotinine (metabolite of nicotine): Trans-3’-Hydroxycotinine concentrations fluctuated and remained well above regional and national averages with the highest concentrations being detected in late-December and the beginning of January.
