Rabies

GO Health Rabies Program

The Environmental Health Division investigates reported mammal bites and saliva exposures to help prevent the spread of rabies to humans. Staff provide alerts, education and outreach and coordinate post-exposure treatment for community members. GO Health also coordinates rabies vaccination clinics for dogs, cats and ferrets at no charge.
