Estimated Population Served: 15,600 Summary of findings (February 5 – April 21, 2026): Cocaine (parent) / Benzoylecgonine (metabolite): Parent and metabolite average concentrations trended upwards from mid-February to mid-March before they declined. Parent average concentrations remained below regional and national detections, while the metabolite average concentrations surpassed regional and national detections in mid-March. Benzoylecgonine had overall higher average concentrations compared to cocaine. Fentanyl (parent) / Norfentanyl (metabolite): Parent average concentrations have decreased since mid-March and began to stabilize in April. Metabolite concentrations have remained relatively stable. Concentrations remained below regional and national averages except during mid-March when the average parent concentration exceeded the regional average. Methamphetamine (parent) / Amphetamine (metabolite): Parent average concentrations remained relatively steady with concentrations below the national averages and in-line with regional averages. Metabolite average concentrations declined in mid-March slightly increasing in the beginning of April. Metabolite concentrations were below national and regional averages except during March. Methamphetamine had overall average concentrations higher than amphetamine. Xylazine (parent) / 4-Hydroxyxylazine (metabolite): Parent average concentrations fluctuated with an increase that occurred from mid‑February through early March, followed by a decline and eventual non‑detection from the end of March onward. These concentrations stayed below the national average except during the first-half of March and remained below the regional average. Metabolite concentrations were not detected. Trans-3’-Hydroxycotinine (metabolite of nicotine): Average concentrations of Trans-3’-Hydroxycotinine increased from the end of February to mid-March before sharply declining, until beginning to increase again in April. During the period of elevation between February to March, the concentration was above the regional average but remained below the national average the entire time.
