Public Health Education

The Public Health Education teams at GO Health focuses on promoting health, preventing disease, and improving community well-being through education, outreach, and policy initiatives. This includes Health Promotion & Education, Disease Prevention & Awareness, Community Outreach & Engagement, Emergency Preparedness & Response, and Policy Advocacy. Educators offer information, education, and training to bridge the knowledge gap between the general public and the scientific community. Our ultimate goal is to empower individuals and communities with the knowledge and resources needed to lead healthier lives. Our team works in collaboration with community partners to utilizes resources and also serve as the Public Information Officers (PIOs).

Community Health Assessment and Community Health Improvement Plan

The Community Health Assessment (CHA) is a continuous process of collecting, analyzing, and sharing information about the health needs of our communities. GO Health collaborates with the Wyoming County Health Department, hospital systems, community organizations, and residents to assess health status, identify needs, address gaps, and recognize available resources.

Substance Use and Disorders

Substance use and substance use disorders affect individuals, families, and communities.
