Local Sanitary Code and Enforcement

The Genesee and Orleans County Health Departments have adopted a Local Sanitary Code that incorporates applicable subparts of the New York State Sanitary Code. The Local Sanitary Code establishes policies related to:

  • Public health nuisances and general sanitation, including insect and rodent concerns
  • Water supplies and sewage
  • Construction approvals
  • Food training requirements
