Genesee County Office for the Aging
The Genesee County Office for the Aging provides information, support and advocacy for Genesee County residents age 60 and older, caregivers and people with disabilities of all ages. Our goal is to support independence and improve quality of life.
Mission
The Genesee County Office for the Aging helps older adults, caregivers and people with disabilities access information, services and support that help them remain independent and connected to their community.
Program Funding and Contributions
The work of the Genesee County Office for the Aging is made possible through funding from the New York State Office for the Aging, NY Connects, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and support from the Genesee County Legislature.
Contributions are gratefully accepted and are used to expand programs and services. No person will be denied service because they are unable or unwilling to contribute. All contributions are confidential.
Accessibility and Individual Assistance
Individuals who need disability accommodations or language interpretation should request reasonable accommodations at least five days in advance.
If you would like to discuss your situation privately, a confidential appointment with a trained staff member can be arranged. If you are unable to visit the office, a staff member may be able to meet with you in your home.
