Recording Discharge

Honorably discharged veterans of the United States Armed Forces are entitled to record their Discharge Certificates (DD214) at the County Clerk’s Office where they live. There is no charge for recording the Certificates.

Return the F.A.V.O.R. Program

Veterans that record their DD214s at the Genesee County Clerk’s Office will be issued a Genesee County Veteran ID card. This Veteran’s ID card enables them to take advantage of discounts offered by local merchants.
