Genesee County DMV Closing for Statewide System Upgrade Published on January 26, 2026 The Genesee County DMV will close at noon Friday, Feb. 13 due to a statewide system upgrade. The office will also be closed Monday, Feb. 16 (holiday) and Tuesday, Feb. 17 (statewide shutdown). DMV services will be unavailable.
