FEMA Updates Flood Insurance Maps - Genesee County Open House May 15 Published on April 17, 2025 FEMA has released a preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) for Genesee County, updating flood risk data for the first time since the 1980s. Residents can view and comment on the new map, which may impact insurance requirements.
