General Election – November 4, 2025

The Genesee County Board of Elections announces the Early Voting schedule and key deadlines for the upcoming General Election.

Early Voting

Early Voting will be available for 9 days, beginning October 25 through November 2, at the ARC Community Center, 38 Woodrow Rd., Batavia, NY 14020.
The schedule is as follows:

  • Saturday, Oct. 25: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Sunday, Oct. 26: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Monday, Oct. 27: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday, Oct. 28: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Wednesday, Oct. 29: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Thursday, Oct. 30: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday, Oct. 31: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday, Nov. 1: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Sunday, Nov. 2: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

All poll sites and the Early Voting site are accessible.

Voters can check their poll site by visiting the New York State Voter Lookup or by calling the Genesee County Board of Elections at (585) 815-7804.

Absentee Ballot Information

To request an absentee ballot, contact the Genesee County Board of Elections or use the New York State Absentee Ballot Portal.

Key absentee ballot deadlines:

  • October 25: Last day for the Board of Elections to receive an absentee ballot application.
  • November 3: Last day to apply in person for an absentee ballot.
  • November 4: Last day to postmark a ballot (must be received by November 12).
  • November 4: Ballots must be received at the poll site or Board of Elections by 9:00 PM.
  • November 17: Military/Special Federal absentee ballots must be received by this date.

Voter Registration Deadlines

Applications must be received by the Board of Elections no later than October 25, 2025, to be eligible to vote in the General Election.

In-Person Registration

Voters may register at the Genesee County Board of Elections or any participating state agency under the National Voter Registration Act on any business day. To be eligible to vote in the General Election, applications must be received by October 25, 2025.

The Board of Elections office, located at 15 Main St., Batavia, will also be open on Saturday, October 25, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Change of Address

Changes of address must be received by October 20, 2025.
