Hazardous Waste Collection

Next date: Saturday, August 23, 2025 | 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Residents of Genesee, Livingston, and Wyoming Counties are encouraged to bring their household hazardous waste to this event. Appointments are required.

Acceptable Materials: fire extinguishers, vehicle fluids, EXCEPT motor oil, lead acid batteries, household cleaners, pesticides and insecticides, polishes and waxes, resins and adhesives, fluorescent light bulbs and tubes, pool chemicals, driveway sealer, propane canisters and tanks, tires: passenger tires - $5; light truck tires - $10

Unacceptable materials: appliances with refrigerants, motor oil, tanks from foam installation kits (Froth Paks), asbestos, explosives/ammunition, PCBs (light ballasts are acceptable), oil/latex paint, and electronics.

NO OIL OR LATEX PAINT, AND NO ELECTRONICS ACCEPTED AT THIS EVENT.
