Visitation Hours

  • Sunday and Monday: No visits
  • Tuesday through Friday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There are no visits on Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Scheduling a Visit

Visits are available every hour during the times listed above on a first-come, first-served basis. Appointments are highly recommended and may be scheduled in advance by calling the Genesee County Jail at (585) 343-0838.

Additions to a scheduled visit must be made at least 24 hours before the visit.

Each visitor must sign in separately and provide all information requested on the visitor sign-in form.

Visitors younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian with acceptable photo identification.

Please remember your scheduled visit time or write it down.
