Genesee County will begin a bridge rehabilitation project on Sumner Road in the Town of Darien on Tuesday, September 1. Sumner Road will be closed at the bridge over Eleven Mile Creek for the duration of the project.
The bridge is located on Sumner Road between Harlow Road and Alleghany Road. The project will include rehabilitation of the existing bridge with a new bridge deck, along with improvements to concrete and steel elements.
Construction is expected to take approximately three months, with completion scheduled for mid-December.
