Published on June 22, 2026
Families and youth are invited to join Genesee County STOP-DWI for an evening of family fun, baseball and public safety awareness at the 2026 STOP-DWI Night at the Ballpark on Thursday, July 9, at Dwyer Stadium.
This special event brings together children, families and community partners to promote safe and sober driving while enjoying a summer night at the ballpark.
Honoring Sheriff Joseph M. Graff
This year’s event will include a tribute to Genesee County Sheriff Joseph M. Graff, a familiar and respected leader whose career has been defined by decades of service to Genesee County.
Sheriff Graff has remained committed to prevention and public safety throughout his career, including his strong support of STOP-DWI initiatives. His efforts have strengthened enforcement, education and community awareness aimed at reducing impaired driving and preventing tragedies on Genesee County roads.
Community members are encouraged to cheer on Sheriff Graff as he throws the ceremonial first pitch. Afterward, stay to watch the game, meet the Sheriff and learn more about how you can “Be the Standard!”
