BATAVIA, NY – Effective Monday, May 18, 2026, the Genesee County Office for the Aging building will be temporarily closed until further notice.
During the temporary closure, an Office for the Aging staff member will be available Monday through Friday during regular business hours in the YMCA community room, located at 211 E. Main St., Batavia, NY 14020, to assist residents with walk-in services.
All other Office for the Aging staff will be working from an alternate location and can be reached by calling 585-343-1611.
Senior Center programming will be cancelled for two weeks and is expected to resume on Monday, June 1, 2026, at alternate community locations. Additional details about programming locations will be shared as they become available.
The Office for the Aging apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates the community’s patience during this temporary closure.
