NOTICE OF ADOPTION

Notice is hereby given that the following Local Law Introductory D of Year 2024 was adopted by the Genesee County Legislature on November 25, 2024 and was subject to permissive referendum.  There was no event of a valid petition requesting such referendum received prior to January 14, 2025, said Local Law known as Local Law 1 of the Year 2025 was filed with the Secretary of State in accordance with the applicable provisions of Law.  A LOCAL LAW IN RELATION TO THE SALARIES OF COUNTY OFFICERS OF THE COUNTY OF GENESEE, ELECTED OR APPOINTED FOR A FIXED TERM BE IT ENACTED by the Genesee County Legislature: Section 1. The salary of County Officers set forth below shall be as follows:

a. Commissioner of Public Works $137,048

b. Commissioner of Elections (2) $  62,817

c. Commissioner of Social Services $119,689

d. County Attorney $144,830

e. County Clerk $111,975

f. District Attorney $220,970

g. Human Resources Director $123,729

h. Public Defender $145,235

Section 2.  The above salary shall take effect January 1, 2025.

Section 3. This Local Law is subject to referendum on petition pursuant to the provisions of Section 24 of the Municipal Home Rule Law.
