The Genesee 2050 Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee will present its recommended 2026 priorities to the Genesee County Legislature on Wednesday, September 9, at 4 p.m. in the Old Courthouse, 7 Main Street, Batavia.
The recommendations were developed through the Genesee 2050 Focus Group System, which includes more than 200 community members across 10 stakeholder groups. The groups meet annually to evaluate community needs, monitor progress and identify priorities for the County’s future.

The Genesee County Legislature and County Manager’s Office will consider the recommendations during development of the 2027 County Budget.
