The Genesee, Livingston, Orleans, Wyoming Workforce Development Board (GLOW WDB) held its Annual Breakfast Meeting on December 12, 2025, at Terry Hills Restaurant, celebrating another successful year serving the GLOW Region.
During PY2024, the GLOW WDB met a high demand for workforce training across the region, supporting job seekers, workers, and businesses through coordinated workforce programs and services.
The past year also brought leadership transitions, including the retirement of Executive team members Jay Lazarony and Michele Nichols. In June, Tracy VanVleck joined as Executive Director, bringing more than 20 years of experience in social and workforce services and continuing the board’s commitment to excellence.
Throughout the year, service providers supported 270 trainings, helping job seekers build skills and ensuring employers have access to a skilled workforce that meets current labor demands.
Congratulations to all the businesses, adults, and youth recognized at this year’s event — your perseverance, dedication, and success highlight the positive impact of workforce development across the GLOW Region.
