The Genesee County Department of Public Works is advising drivers that a portion of Creamery Road in the Town of Bergen will be closed for approximately two weeks beginning the week of June 22, 2026.
Creamery Road will be closed from West Sweden Road to North Lake Road, also known as Route 19. The closure will be in place for all traffic, including the general public and emergency services.
Drivers approaching from the west will not be able to travel farther east than house #7922. Drivers approaching from the east will not be able to travel farther west than house #7933.
The closure is needed for a culvert replacement project. Drivers should plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes during work.
