Paint Recycling Event

Get rid of your old, unwanted paint, clean up your garage or basement, and help keep paint products out of the landfill.

Join us for a free, eco-friendly paint recycling collection event at the Livingston County Highway Department, located at 3360 Gypsy Lane, Mt. Morris, NY.

This event provides residents with a safe and convenient way to dispose of leftover paint while supporting a cleaner, greener community.

Registration Required

Registration is required to participate. Please sign up in advance to secure your spot.

Unlimited amounts of latex and oil-based paint will be accepted. Event staff will be available to guide attendees through the drop-off process and ensure materials are properly recycled.

Acrylic paint
Varnishes, stains, shellacs and lacquers
Primers
Clear coatings

Spray paint, including aerosol cans
Marine and auto paints
Household hazardous waste
Electronics
Paint thinner and cleaning agents
Driveway sealers

Event Instructions

For all events, attendees are asked to stay in their vehicles. Event staff will direct you to the appropriate drop-off lanes and unload everything for you. This helps ensure a safe and efficient process for everyone.
