2nd Annual Sgt. Sanfratello Memorial Ride

The community is invited to take part in the 2nd Annual Sgt. Sanfratello Memorial Ride on Saturday, August 15, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Alexander Fire Hall Rec Center.

This event is open to the entire community, including those who ride motorcycles, those who enjoy basket raffles, and anyone who would like to line the streets, cheer on the riders, and remember Sgt. Sanfratello as the group passes by.

The ride is a non-political community event held in support of Genesee County’s first responders and to honor the life, memory, and service of Sgt. Sanfratello, who was killed in the line of duty on March 10, 2024. Sgt. Sanfratello loved his small Genesee County community, and this event continues to honor that connection.

Proceeds

All proceeds from the basket raffle will be split between Genesee County’s Shop with a Cop, a charity close to Sgt. Sanfratello, and a scholarship fund created in his name to benefit local high school students interested in careers in law enforcement.
