2026 GLOW Household Hazardous Waste Event

Residents of Genesee, Livingston and Wyoming counties can bring accepted household hazardous waste materials to this free collection event. The event will be held at 3360 Gypsy Lane, Mount Morris, NY.

Appointments Required

Appointments are required to participate. Please bring confirmation of your appointment to the event.

Accepted forms of confirmation include a photo of your ticket on your phone, an email showing your confirmation, or a QR code.

Accepted Materials

• Fire extinguishers
• Vehicle fluids, except motor oil
• Lead acid batteries
• Household cleaners
• Pesticides and insecticides
• Polishes and waxes
• Resins and adhesives
• Fluorescent light bulbs and tubes
• Pool chemicals
• Driveway sealer
• Propane canisters and tanks
• Passenger tires: $5 each
• Light truck tires: $10 each

Not Accepted

• Appliances with refrigerants
• Motor oil
• Tanks from foam installation kits, including Froth-Paks
• Asbestos
• Explosives or ammunition
• PCBs, except light ballasts
• Oil or latex paint
• Electronics

No oil or latex paint and no electronics will be accepted at this event.
