How to read these charts

• Site EUI (kBtu/ft²) shows energy used per square foot. Lower is better.
• GHG emissions (metric tons CO₂e) reflect on-site fuel and electricity use.
• Year-to-year changes can be affected by weather, occupancy, building use, and changes to facility operations.
• The New Jail Building is included beginning with the 2025 reporting year.

Site EUI facility trends (2020–2025)

The line chart below tracks Building Energy Use Intensity, or Site EUI, measured in kBtu/ft² for each Genesee County facility over time. It shows direct on-site utility consumption trends, including the addition of the New Jail Building in 2025 alongside the historic performance of existing facilities.
